I need to pause and comment here. This is a wonderful photograph both in time and place; so evocative. With the added charm of being technically very well done and with robust, unapologetic grain. As a teen-ager, I was really attracted to photography because of the unique feature of grain to build a recognizable image. That fascination remains, lo, these many years later.
